The White House defended a Joe Biden campaign video in which the president called Kyle Rittenhouse a “white supremacist” despite a not guilty verdict.
Jen Psaki, White house Press Secretary, refused to answer questions as to if Joe Biden would apologize to Kyle Rittenhouse after he was found not guilty on all charges. Biden used BLM riots as leverage during his campaign by attacking Kyle Rittenhouse in slanderous fashion. Rittenhouse was formally found not guilty of all charges for his involvement in these riots.
Rittenhouse publicly spoke on the comments and said that Biden was wrong to refer to him as a white supremacist. “It’s actual malice. Defaming my character for him to say something like that,” Rittenhouse said during a Fox News Interview.
Press Secretary defended Biden’s comments saying that Rittenhouse took pictures with a group called the Proud Boys that Biden has condemned. Additionally, she further dodged the question by saying former President Donald Trump actively encouraged white supremacy during his presidency.
