LA County sheriff’s deputies are in critical condition after a blatant attack this weekend, while protestors shout “we hope they die.”
Two sheriff’s deputies in Democrat-led Los Angeles were left in critical condition after being ambushed and shot this weekend.
Video of the ambush shows a figure walk up to the deputies’ car and raise a pistol, then fire several shots.
“The two deputies were doing their job, minding their own business, and watching out for the safety of the people on the train,” said Sheriff Alex Villanueva, “and seeing someone just walk up and start shooting on them, it – it pisses me off.”
The officers haven’t been named but were described as a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman. They both sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Police also said that protestors stood outside the hospital and yelled anti-police slogans and blocked the entrance to the emergency room.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department tweeted: “To the protesters blocking the entrance & exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling ‘We hope they die’ referring to 2 LA Sheriff’s ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES & EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. People’s lives are at stake when ambulances can’t get through.”
FBI statistics show that 40 police officers have been killed in the line of duty in 2020 so far.
Please pray for these two Sheriff Deputies. Their lives matter!!! #BlueLivesMatter https://t.co/e0QcaOooYT

Regardless of any reason or motivation, senseless violence against police officers is deplorable and unacceptable. It seems that the people who carry out this violence and those who seek to “defund the police” are trying to tear down important American institutions.
It’s more important than ever that we support law enforcement and elect leaders who will defend those who protect and serve every US citizen. Their lives are at stake.
