Representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) that will create clear discipline for rioting as mass property damage has occurred across the country.

The proposed bill would create incentives for state and local governments to prevent lawlessness created by rioting around the United States.  This would limit federal grants to areas that choose to allow rioting to go unpunished.  This is an attempt to help stop mass violence and the destruction of Great cities around the country.

“Chaos and violence have no place in American cities, It’s time for Democrats to denounce violent left-wing extremism, reject efforts to defund the police, and hold anarchists and criminals accountable for their lawlessness.”

The bill has support from other Republican representatives and is the first step by the federal government to end chaos in American cities. The bill allows the Department of Justice to withhold up to 10 percent of federal grants from cities that do not comply with regulations.   A similar bill was introduced to the Senate floor in August and is currently pending a vote.

Law and order is necessary to take back the country from extremist rioters.  These rioters are able to commit mass violence without the fear of consequences.  This bill would take power away from liberal mayors and other leaders that refuse to stop rioting in their communities.
