Religious freedom has been under attack for many years. The left has placed the biggest targets on the backs of Christians. Realizing the threat to those of faith, this past Thursday President Trump proclaimed January 16, 2020 “Religious Freedom Day” per annual tradition.

“From its opening pages, the story of America has been rooted in the truth that all men and women are endowed with the right to follow their conscience, worship freely, and live in accordance with their convictions,” said President Trump. “[We] reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the religious liberty of all Americans.”

President Trump also signed new guidelines to protect prayer in schools. “This afternoon we’re proudly announcing historic steps to protect the First Amendment right to pray in public schools… There’s nothing more important than that, I would say,” said the president.

The new guidelines would roll back restrictions for religious groups who receive federal funding. Not only will there be more room to express freedom of religion in schools, but religious groups are now enabled to not have to hide their religion. The new guidelines also institute anti-discrimination policies regarding religous affiliation.

When Obama was president, he attempted to institute a one-size-fits-all education program, commonly referred to as common core. It taught revisionist history that was not only anti-American, but impractical for students. President Trump has not only gotten rid of Obamacare, but is now allowing those of faith to be able to have a voice in the classroom again.

The fake news media has enabled a hostile environment for Christians, Jews, and many other people of faith. Partnering with the fake news media, the left is actively working to push out any bit of Judeo-Christian tradition and values out of mainstream American culture.

This country was built on the concept of religious freedom. President Trump has kept his promise all Americans of faith. Sing our thank you card today to thank the President!
