Democratic presidential candidate and Mayor of South Bend, Indiana frequently uses his faith to slam other Christians. Christmas day was no different, when Buttigieg claimed Jesus Christ came into the world as a refugee, alluding to the need for America to bring in more refugees.
Buttigieg tweeted Christmas morning. “Today I join millions around the world in celebrating the arrival of divinity on earth, who came into this world not in riches but in poverty, not as a citizen but as a refugee. No matter where or how we celebrate, merry Christmas.”
Can Buttigieg let politics go for just one day? His argument that Jesus was a refugee is so ludicrous it doesn’t have to be broken down. Liberals will use any holiday to slam those on the right. The most surprising part of his tweet is that Mayor Pete even dared to use the phrase, “Merry Christmas.”
The Democratic presidential hopeful released his immigration plan the other day and it unveiled his America last plan. He wants to provide amnesty to 11 million illegal aliens currently residing in the U.S and to end all construction on the Wall. Buttigieg’s plan also includes bringing in almost 100,000 refugees.
Pete Buttigieg loves to invoke Christianity to justify his leftist policy proposals. In the past he has claimed that Republicans are hypocrites when it comes to their immigration policies at the border. Buttigieg only references the Bible when its verses sound convenient to his argument.
If Buttigieg was a real man of faith, why would he use Christmas to slam those who think differently from him on policy? The left’s constant spewing of hate against conservatives and those of faith has gone too far.
