Nancy Pelosi blocked House Republicans from reading the names of the 13 U.S. troops that were killed in terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blocked members of the House from reading the names of the 13 U.S. service members recently killed in Afghanistan, Republicans say.
“We gaveled in, had a prayer, said the Pledge of Allegiance, took a moment of silence with pretty much all Republican veterans, then asked to be recognized to read names and bring up Afghanistan legislation,” Rep. Brian Mast told reporters. “They did not acknowledge us, and just closed the House down.”
Joe Biden and his administration have also been recently blasted by Gold Star families for improperly respecting the fallen service members. Apparently, Biden blew them off, talked about his own grief instead of theirs and checked his watch during the dignified transfer of the 13 who were killed in Afghanistan.
Speaker Pelosi won't stand up for those Americans left behind, but rest assured House Republicans will. pic.twitter.com/7w7HJ0FXuH

“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week,” Rep. Carlos Gimenez posted. “Don’t you think our military deserves better?”
Not only have Biden, his administration and other Democrats failed to take responsibility for the crisis in Afghanistan, now it appears that they’re failing to honor and respect the American troops who were killed as a result. What more will we let them get away with?
