The Ft. Lauderdale mayor was quick to call a Pride parade accident an act of terrorism against LGBT individuals.
Ft. Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis is under fire for claiming a deadly crash at a Pride parade was “terrorist attack against the LGBT community” before all the facts were revealed.
As the parade began, a Dodge Ram suddenly accelerated into the crowd, killing one man and seriously injuring another. Mayor Trantalis, who was attending the parade, spoke with reporters soon after the incident.
“This is a terrorist attack against the LGBT community,” Trantalis told Local 10 News. “This is exactly what it is. Hardly an accident. It was deliberate, it was premeditated, and it was targeted against a specific person. Luckily they missed that person, but unfortunately, they hit two other people.”

However, the driver and the victims were part of the Ft. Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus family, according to a statement from Justin Knight, the group’s president.
Knight said in the statement: “To my knowledge it was an accident. This was not an attack on the LGBTQ community. We anticipate more details to follow and ask for the community’s love and support.”
Woke Democrats are always so quick to blame homophobia, white supremacy, racism, and every other “ism” when an incident happens, such as the one in Ft. Lauderdale. The left doesn’t care about facts; only how they feel and whether or not they can use something for their liberal agenda.
