The Democratic Party has long been quietly working against Christian values, but this month at the DNC’s Summer Meeting held in San Francisco, the liberals officially announced they’re actively working against Christianity.
The party passed a resolution titled: Resolution Regarding the Religiously Unaffiliated Demographic — with its purpose to represent and listen to the ‘religiously unaffiliated Americans’ due to the fact that the ‘nonreligious have often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in American society.’
This resolution not only champions the faithless, but announces that the Democratic party is actively working against Christianity. “Those most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of “religious liberty,” to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities,” the resolution read.
America gives us freedom OF religion — not freedom FROM religion.
Our religious liberty is under attack. Cases from punishing prayer in schools to forcing private business owners to comply with same-sex customers who violate their religious beliefs absolutely step on our First Amendment Right to the freedom of religion.
The Democratic party can advocate for the faithless all they’d like, but when they come to censor and silence the faithful — that’s where they’ll be stopped.
Americans United for Values stands strong for family values, pro-life values, and the liberty to practice any faith freely. If we’ve learned anything this month, it’s that the Democratic party believes the direct opposite — and they have no issue shouting it from the mountaintops. The DNC thinks ‘non-believers’ out number the faithful — let’s remind them of our strength.
