Portland rioters are catching a break thanks to the Department of Justice under President Joe Biden.
Under President Biden, the Department of Justice has apparently been throwing out federal cases against Portland rioters.
The DOJ’s dismissal of the cases was apparently done ‘quietly,’ the Daily Wire highlighted.
“Federal prosecutors have dismissed more than one-third of cases stemming from last summer’s violent protests in downtown Portland when protesters clashed with federal agents,” Portland’s KGW8 reported. The network also “reviewed federal court records and found 31 of the 90 protest cases have been dismissed by the U.S. Department of Justice, including a mix of misdemeanor and felony charges.”
"What if it burned down?"

KGW8 added that some of the charges dropped included four defendants charged with assaulting a federal officer, a felonious crime.
Just last fall, Billy Williams, then-U.S. Attorney for Oregon, had stated that there would be consequences for the graffiti, fires and vandalism outside the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse. Evidently, the DOJ under Biden has now decided to sweep everything under the rug.
Democrats, the party of “defunding the police,” have failed to protect their cities from near-anarchy. Now, they’re allowing rioters to go unpunished, almost guaranteeing that this kind of violence and destruction will happen again.
Our leaders should be strong and resolute, and not afraid to enforce the law when American people and American institutions are threatened by radical leftists.
