Biden’s aggressive new climate change orders could put American jobs at risk.
This week, President Biden signed executive orders which will “supercharge” his administration’s plan for dealing with climate change.
Meanwhile, the president’s order to ban new oil and gas leasing on federal lands and cancelation of the Keystone XL pipeline project have already put American jobs at risk.
“In my view, we’ve already waited too long to deal with this climate crisis and we can’t wait any longer. It is time to act,” Biden said. “Just like we need a unified national response to COVID-19, we desperately need a unified national response to the climate crisis, because there is a climate crisis.”

Biden’s nominee to head the Energy Department, former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm, also recently told a Senate panel that she believes some jobs may need to be “sacrificed” for Biden to pursue his climate agenda.
The order, according to the White House, says that climate considerations are an “essential element” of U.S. foreign policy and national security.
“This is a whole of government approach to put climate change at the center of domestic policy, national security and foreign policy,” Biden said.
Apparently though, American jobs and livelihoods are not also “essential elements” of Biden’s plan. In addition, we risk losing our strength and security as the world leader in energy production and a major exporter of oil and natural gas.
Biden and the progressive left are clearly hyper-focused on achieving their agenda, regardless of whether or not millions of Americans are affected.
