Steve Ricchetti, the man behind a China trade bill that cost Americans millions of manufacturing jobs, has been hired by Biden as White House counselor.
After the media declared Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 election, the apparent president-elect is already building his cabinet with anti-American leaders.
Biden recently hired Steve Ricchetti, the man behind a 1990s China trade bill that cost Americans millions of manufacturing jobs, as White House counselor. In the past, Ricchetti served as Biden’s chief of staff during the latter’s term as vice president, and he also served as deputy chief of staff for President Bill Clinton.
The Daily Caller reported that “Clinton credited Ricchetti for leading negotiations with Congress in 2000 to pass a bill that established so-called Permanent Normal Trade Relations between China and the U.S.”
As a result of opening trade, the U.S. saw a “sharp drop” in manufacturing jobs, according to a 2012 Yale study.

In addition to Ricchetti, Biden has already filled his administration with at least four officials linked to the oil and pharmaceutical industries, despite the fact that he said in his campaign that he wanted to close the oil industry.
BIDEN WH STAFF SO FAR:
➡️Venture capital executive (@RonaldKlain).
➡️Former pharmaceutical, insurance lobbyist (Steve Ricchetti).
➡️Top Dem recipient of Big Oil $ (@cedricrichmond).
➡️Co-founder of firm that represents pharma & private equity (@jomalleydillon).— Kenneth P. Vogel (@kenvogel) November 17, 2020
While election results are still being disputed, Joe Biden is already building his cabinet with officials who have undermined the U.S. economy. Steve Ricchetti pushed a bill that supported the Chinese communist regime and cost millions of American jobs. Now, Biden wants him to work for the White House.
Political leaders should be focused on the betterment of the country, rather than passing bills that hurt their own people. We as citizens have a responsibility to support leaders who work hard for all Americans and want to build the nation up instead of tearing it down.
