Biden Chooses Sympathizers of Critical Race Theory for Education Department

Biden’s top Education Department picks have supported radical leftist, anti-American teachings.

Joe Biden’s picks for the top positions of the Education Department have reportedly sympathized with the far-left and divisive “critical race theory.”

The president-elect’s most recent pick was San Diego Unified School District Superintendent Cindy Marten, for the role of Deputy Secretary of Education. Marten reportedly introduced and praised a speaker (Bettina Love) who promoted the idea that schools “spirit murder” black children and that white teachers should undergo “antiracist therapy.”

“At the end of her presentation, Love told the teachers that whites are directly responsible for the plight of ‘dark children,’” reported Christopher Rufo. He added that a slide in the presentation stated: “Whiteness reproduces poverty, failing schools, high unemployment, school closings, and trauma for people of color.”

In addition, current Connecticut Commissioner of Education Miguel Cardona was Biden’s choice for Secretary of Education. Cardona helped oversee curricula for high school students that was influenced by “critical race theory.” The curricula will apparently be implemented in fall 2022.

Biden’s nominees for these positions of influence have supported a divisive and propagandistic idealism. At a time when our nation needs unity and understanding more than ever, this is a dangerous decision that could affect future generations of Americans.

We should always elevate the teaching of fairness and respect over the racist ideas of “critical race theory.” And we must make our voices heard so that Biden and other leaders will no longer bow to the radical left and start to build a more unified nation.
