Joey Casaburi, a World War Two veteran and purple heart recipient receives a surprise birthday celebration from local first responders from the village of Hastings located in Westchester County, New York.

Casaburi has been stuck indoors and in isolation within the nursing home he resides in throughout 2020.  The village made the decision to honor him with local police, firefighters, and other military personnel.  Military veterans have been widely ignored by the mainstream media, and stories like these have become less common throughout 2020.

Casaburi not only survived World War Two, but he also beat coronavirus.  Social distancing and other coronavirus protocols have called for many elderly Americans to be forced into extreme isolation.  It is important for Americans to continue to work hard to destroy coronavirus and return to normalcy as soon as possible.

People like Joey Casaburi are an example of a fighter and emulate the strength that Americans need to continue to strive for.  Coronavirus and extremist liberal movements like Black Lives Matter have dominated 2020, but it is important to fight for core values that drive the country.
