Attorneys general in 27 states drafted a letter to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and asked the agency to withdraw the coronavirus vaccine mandate for large employers.
This letter comes in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court decision that halted the Biden Administration’s attempt to mandate vaccines for thousands of people across the country. The opposition to the vaccine mandate shows that there are millions of Americans who continue to oppose vaccine mandates.
OSHA has not currently withdrawn their emergency temporary standard since the Supreme court ruling. The attorneys general called the mandate detrimental to the economic success of the country and many major employers. This mandate has not provided any solutions for employers and the possibility that adequate staffing could dissipate is apparent.
OSHA operates under the direction of the Federal government and many of their COVID related actions have been at the direction of the White House. President Joe Biden has worked hard to create unjust and immoral vaccine mandates that ignore a person’s right to choose their own medical care.
